Michael Thierer Obituary
Born in England, he was a son of Edward and Madeline (Spaar) Thierer. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School, Orlando Florida, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed over 30 years at Steel Management Systems and was a member of the UAW. Since his retirement, he enjoyed going to the casino and lottery scratch offs.
Survivors: He is survived by his sons, Michael S. Thierer, Jr. and wife, Shonda, Matthew Thierer, Sr. and wife, Jennifer, and Daniel Thierer and wife, Kathleen; three grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Nathan, and Abigail; nieces, nephews; and step siblings. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Edward Thierer Jr.; and sister, Anita Messick.
Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Co., 2718 Mountainview Drive, Bath, PA 18014. Arrangements for Michael's cremation were entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to a charity of one's choice.
