I send my sympathy to Mike's family. Mike & I were roommates our freshman year at the College of Wooster. We developed a friendship that lasted through the years. Mike was a positive person and helped me make it through my Freshman year. RIP, Mike!

We worked together at the Allentown Post Office. I didn´t recognize his name right away. It was always "Mikey", with a smile and a laugh that I can still hear. So happy to have known him.... Joanne (Harhart) Santee

Uncle Mike
The memory’s are all so special. From the time I babysat for your brother Mark. You were away at college. Years passed and you married my Aunt Franny and what a special couple you made. Many good times and conversations not to mention your cooking skills and wine making. You took care of Fanny and then it was a rough road for you. But you are now at peace and with out pain. Gone from site but always in my heart.

Michael was such a wonderful uncle! He and I would always talk about sports. Since I lived in Indianapolis he would always encourage me to go to the Indy 500...I told him the only way I would go is if he and I would go together! I will miss him dearly! RIP Uncle Mike.

Mike has been our friend for many years. I worked with Mike as a letter carrier and played softball with Mike in the post office league. A lot of our free time was spent with Mike and Fran back in our younger days. Rest in peace dear friend and now you are with your beloved Frannie. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Mike was my neighbor in the Lakes, and he made it a friendlier place. I could count on seeing Mike and Dakota out for a walk very often, and I always enjoyed chatting with him. He was friends with everyone and felt like the glue that connected the neighborhood. Even when he was dealing with a lot of physical challenges, he was interested in others and very caring. I still look for him when I go out and when I return home, and I miss him very much.

The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final launch. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The plank is in place and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. You can now retire your gold Air Crew wings for another, much better pair. Smooth sailing shipmate. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
