Michael J. Weber II

1952 - 2023

Michael J. Weber II, 71, of Allentown, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 10, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1952, he was the son of the late Michael and Ida (Maule). He was the husband of Patricia (O'Donnell) Weber, with whom he shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.

Mike was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Class of 1970 as well as earning his bachelor's in chemistry from DeSales and his Masters in Organic Chemistry from Lehigh University. Mike was a long-time member of St. Ann's R.C.C., Emmaus, PA. He retired from Mallinckrodt/GEO Specialty Chemicals in Allentown, PA after 44 years of service. Mike was known to his friends and family as a modern-day renaissance man. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, his annual fishing trips to Canada with his close friends, spending summers at the beach, and taking photos. He had a passion for nature and being outdoors, including hunting. He was an avid reader, loved learning about history, and enjoyed traveling across the globe. He was someone who could fix anything, mechanically and electrically inclined. He'll be remembered for being kind, generous and loving to everyone and always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, children, Jennifer Grgurich (Justin), Karen Sloan (Sean), Michael Weber III (Suzanne), grandchildren, John, James, Jacob, Hannah, Tyler, Michael IV, and Vivian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Ann's R.C.C., 415 S 6th St, Emmaus, PA 18049, at 11:00 AM. A Visitation will be held from 10-11 prior to mass at the church. Burial will be held at a later date. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
