Myrene V. Arky Rakos, 87, of Bethlehem and formerly of Levittown, PA, died on Monday, January 28, 2013. Born in Jefferson City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Edna (Adair) Vaughn. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Rakos who died in 2005. Myrene was employed by the Fountain Hill Mills, Bethlehem, for 15 years and then Boise Cascade, Levittown, for 10 years. She was a member of the Bristol Township Senior Center. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christine Tina Faraldo and husband, Edward of Freemansburg, Rodney and wife, Debbie of Levittown, and Jane Rakos-Yates of Doylestown; brother, John Vaughn and wife, Peggy of Fayette, MO; granddaughters, Lynn Yacone and husband, Mike, Jennifer Rakos, and Amelia Yates; great-grandsons, Ryan and Bryce Yacone; and niece, Michelle Vaughn. Services: A 12 p.m. memorial service will be held on Thursday February 7 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
