Nancy Dannies Obituary
Nancy Harper Dannies of Madison, New Hampshire, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at the age of 88. Born in Alameda, California, she was a daughter of Henry and Minnie (Bell) Crowe Harper. Nancy graduated from Northfield (Mass.) Seminary for Girls and Moravian College, Bethlehem. She was an active member of the Junior League in Bethlehem and Boston, Mass. She was the chairwoman of Cohasset Golf Club womens team and the chairwoman of the board of trustees of the Madison (N.H.) Library. Her life was one of service to her family, community and her church. She was the loving wife for 66 years to Robert Bowen Dannies, devoted mother of Robert Jr., Mary, John Frederick and Martha, and sister to Marjorie Wilbur. Services: Memorial services were held Sept. 27 at Christ Episcopal Church, North Conway, N.H. Contributions: May be sent to Madison Library, Box 240, Madison, NH 03849 and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Box 685, Southbridge, MA 01550.
