Nancy L. Long
Nancy L. Long, 72, of Palmerton, died April 3 in Blue Mountain Health System, Gnaden Huetten campus. She was the wife of Albert A. Long. They were married 52 years last May. She worked as a teller for the former Citizens Bank & Trust Company, Palmerton, for 16 years until retiring in 1996. Nancy was a member of First United Church of Christ, Palmerton. She enjoyed taking frequent trips to Atlantic City with her husband. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late George and Louise (Hauser) Smith. Survivors: Daughter Deborah and husband Jeff Gardiner of Phoenixville; son Kevin of West Virginia; four grandchildren; brother Richard and wife Jean Smith of Lehighton. Services: Private, at the convenience of family. Arrangements, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, Palmerton. Contributions: First UCC, 457 Delaware Ave, Palmerton 18071.www.tk-thomas-fh.com.

Debbie, I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Just recently we looked at slides from long ago trips to Ship Bottom! We laughed so hard we were crying. Those are great memories from a long time ago. You'll always have those memories and many many more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Kevin, your dad and your families.

We are so sorry for your loss. Keep your memories close to your heart and she will only be a heart beat away. May God give you strentgh to get through the hard times and peace knowing she is enjoying eternity and you will meet again someday.
