Loyd Long Obituary
Serving as pallbearers will be: Curtis Renfroe, Justin Garrett, Jeremy Barbaree, Josh Barbaree, Ricky Locklar and Frankie Locklar.
Mr. Long is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Long; children: Terry Long (Amelia) and Connie Long Sanders (Randy Sanders); grandchildren: Landan Long (Laura), Jodi Wilson (Josh), Ashton Estes Hutchison (Brian), and Molly Estes Parker (Craig); great grandchildren: Reid Long, Whitt Long, Natalie Wilson, Britton Hutchison, Cash Hutchison, Mary Charles Hutchison, Ellis Parker and Wells Parker; sisters in law: Wilner Long and Ann Baker (Randall); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: W.J. and Lessie Long; siblings: Pellar Long, Emory Long, Ellis Long, Alvin Long, and Oris Long.
Memorials may be made to the Ramah Cemetery Fund.

Uncle Loyd was a hard working, God fearing man that was to me, quiet in a way but, when he walked into a room everyone knew he was there because that was the kind of respect people had for him. He had a strong character and was always positive. They say that beside every good man is a greater woman. Well, Aunt Mary Charles is that greater woman that pushed him to always do better and for that he left this world a better place. That is what we should all strive to do. God bless you Uncle Loyd .
