Nancy Nagle Obituary

Nancy Anne Nagle, 77 of Macungie passed away peacefully on August 31st, after living a full and happy life surrounded by lots of love.

Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur Hale Nagle and late Alice Mae (MacGowan) Nagle.

Nancy was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania before moving to Allentown to pursue her rewarding career as a nurse. Nancy always helped and gave back to her community.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served proudly as a deacon and sang in the choir.

Nancy was an amazing mother, caring daughter, devoted friend and loyal dog lover. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Heather Parry of Beverly Hills, California, and her loyal companion Snowy who never left her side and also her Grandpups Jagger and Zeppelin.

Nancy's life will always be warmly celebrated by her love of all things holiday decorations…especially Christmas. Nancy loved gardening, rescuing animals, listening to the band Celtic Thunder and enjoying any kind of chocolate. Nancy always had a good time visiting her daughter at movie premieres where she walked the red carpet rubbing shoulders with Hollywood movie stars, where she was always complimented on her outfits.

In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the HeatherParryFoundation.com, an organization that helps rescue dogs in need, a passion of Nancy's, that she passed on and inspired Heather to continue saving and helping animals.

Dear Heather my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Nancy Ann and I were very close cousins growing up. We would always be laughing and having a great time with the dogs. I can remember going to Harveys Lake in Pennsylvania with all our other cousins and laughing and splashing.
Nancy Ann Will be missed by everyone and anyone she ever crossed paths with.
Love and prayers are with you always

Sorry to learn this news Heather. She was a joy to see each time I met her at the front door with that big smile. She was as pleasant as Alice and Art could be and so very proud of you!

Nancy was like a second mom to me growing up. She was always so warm and welcoming and always made me feel at home. She was endlessly patient with all of our teenage antics. I will keep all of the wonderful memories of my time spent with her in my heart forever. My condolences to you, Heather. You were the joy of her life and you made her so proud. She will be very missed.

What a sweet lady! So Bummed! But will always remember all the small town wisdom she gave me over our many visits, especially those great lunches at The Ivy on Robertson. We will have to go there and pour one out for her

It is with sadness that we read of Nancy´s passing. As a nurse she was one of the best. Nancy had a quiet, intelligent depth, pragmatic about life´s ups and downs. Mostly she was lively and fun with an infectious laugh that drew others to her.
Nancy found humor as a strength during difficult times and was a valiant warrior when confronted with health obstacles. Nancy´s kind and generous spirit will always be remembered. Rest in peace, our friend, knowing you were loved by many.

Nancy loved her daughter more than anything and always worried that she worked too hard! And, just like Heather, her furry children could do no wrong and she loved to spoil all of them. I have no doubt that Nancy is in Heaven spoiling and caring for all the Angel animals while watching over Heather with Love.
