Pandelis Papadopoulos Obituary
Pandelis Lee Papadopoulos, 35, of Astoria, NY, died June 3, 2011, at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, NY. He was born on December 31, 1975, in East Stroudsburg, PA. Lee started his career in Oklahoma working for Schlumberger as a civil engineer until he transitioned to and settled in the New York City area where he worked as a Construction Project Manager for 11 years. Survivors: his parents, Misail and Evangelia (Kehagias) Papadopoulos of Stroudsburg; two brothers, Anastasios (Tasso) Papadopoulos and Alexander Papadopoulos and his wife Katerina all of Stroudsburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Friends and family will be received from 4-8 P.M. Thursday, June 9 at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 135 Stokes Ave., Stroudsburg. A Trisagion service will be held at 7 P.M. Thursday at the church. The Funeral Service will be chanted at 11 A.M. Friday, June 10 at the church and will be followed by burial in the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Section of Stroudsburg Cemetery.
