To The Tocci Family

My deepest sympathy goes from my heart to yours.
I met Pat at my first Christmas party at Platz's only to learn he that he would become one of my "best buddies" as we called
each other.
I was very heartbroken when I
realized that I was going to be out of the country for Pat's services but thanks to great friends I was there for a little bit with help of our cell phones.
Every day is hard since Pat's
death but thank God for so many memories to help us get through each day.Pat is the sunshine in everyones day.My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

I am very saddened to have just learned of Pats death. I believe I am still in shock and very upset at the fact that I missed all the services, as Pat was a VERY important part of my life for such a long period of time. I worked for Pat, and we had such a nice relationship and bond, he became a father figure to me, always caring and supportive. We had the best times together, both at work and outside~ and he will never be forgotten! I will never forget the fun times including the Szoke Iron works Christmas party. Could never find a more caring ~ compassionate boss/friend!! He will be sadly missed!! My heart goes out to the family, and those who truly knew and loved Pat as I did!~XOXO~

To My St. Luke’s Family:

In this time of sorrow and sadness it brought me great comfort to know that I had so many caring and concerned friends. The overwhelming response that I have received from friends and coworkers is so touching, to say the least. I cannot tell you how much your kind words and support meant to me and my family to help get through this difficult time. This organization really shows its true colors to come to the aid of one it employees when the chips are down. I am so blown away from all the calls, cards, and gifts that were sent our way. It was especially touching to see all of my fellow employees who came to the Memorial Service to pay their respects. I am writing this letter because there were so many who showed their concern and I did not want to leave anyone out. I would like to especially thank the staff of St. Luke’s North, Dr. McGinley, Jim Thorpe Urgent Care, Dr. Folander, and Helene Oplinger! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your gracious gifts and the donations to the Surfrider Foundation.

My brother loved to sail the sea and I find comfort in knowing that he died doing something he loved. This tragedy has taught me and many of my friends and family just how important life is. Please take the time to tell your loved ones just how much you care for them. Once again, thank you on behalf of the entire Tocci family for your kindness and prayers.

Sincerely,

Joe Tocci

To the entire Tocci family,

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you.I lost my wife two weeks ago and since then I can never just glance over the Obituaries again without feeling a deep sadness for the families who have lost a loved one. I was stunned to read of Pat's passing.

I had the opportunity to coach little Pat at Liberty and I can honestly tell you that no parent enjoyed and loved watching his son wrestle more than Pat. He just beamed with pride.

May you all find the strength to get through this very difficult time. God Bless.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
