Pauline Yoder Obituary

Pauline K. Yoder, 92, of Lancaster, formerly of Quakertown, passed away peacefully Thur. June 7 at the Mennonite Home in Lancaster. She was the wife of the late David S. Yoder. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late W. Norman and S. Viola (Longacre) Gehman. Pauline worked as a bookkeeper for Charles Bell Co. for 30 years and worked at Moyers Chicks for 17 years before retiring and moving to Lancaster. She was a member of Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown. Pauline enjoyed going to Panera Bread for coffee, baking Christmas cookies, and cooking meals for family and friends. Surviving are a son, Dale W., wife Audrey of Mt. Joy; daughter, Karen Gyger, husband John, of Lancaster; two brothers, Robert Gehman, wife Addie of Coopersburg and Henry Gehman, wife Jane of Sellersville; & four grandchildren: Julie, Mitchell, Jaclyn, and Melanie: great-granddaughters, Alivia and Violet. She was predeceased by a sister Grace Bertsch, brothers David and James, and a great granddaughter Charlotte. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14, 11:00 am at Swamp Mennonite Church, 2125 Rosedale Rd., Quakertown. A calling hour from 10-11 am will precede the service. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, P.O. Box 500, Akron, PA 17501.
