Raymond Reinheimer
Raymond K. Reinheimer, 79, of 966 Mahoning Mtn. Rd., Lehighton, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Blue Mountain Health Systems Palmerton Campus. He was the husband of the late Carolyn R. Strohl Reinheimer. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Alburtus and Laura Schoch Reinheimer. Prior to his retirement he worked for 28 years as a carrier operator for Bethlehem Steel Corporation in the beam yards. He was a member of Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, Ashfield. An avid outdoorsman and fisherman, he held a life membership with The Nis Hollow Hunting Club, Lehighton. Survivors: A daughter, Raylene K. wife of Robert Hunter; a son, Jay O. and wife Mar Del; a brother, Harold and his wife Joan; a sister, Marian Berger all of Lehighton; three grandsons; nieces; nephews. he was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Luther and Leland, three sisters, Esther Baer, Mildred Zeigenfuss, Laurina Flickinger. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, November 30, at the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th and Iron St., Lehighton, with the Rev. Denton R. Kees officiating. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Interment in Dinkey Memorial Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1227 Liberty St., Allentown, PA 18102, or Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, 1742 Dinkey, Lehighton, PA 18235.
