Rella S. Labar, 71, of Moore Township, passed away on Saturday, September 01, 2012 at the Muhlenberg Campus of Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Emre Labar, Sr. with whom she shared 16 years of marriage prior to his death in 2005. Born in Allentown on November 8, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Zena (Ritter) Sandt. Rella attended Liberty High School. She was employed in the accounts payable department of Laneco for many years before retiring. After retiring, she worked part-time in the cafeteria of the George Wolf Elementary School, Bath and later worked in the extended care for Moravian Academy. Rella was an avid bingo player and she enjoyed crossword puzzle and playing cards. She was a member of the Emmanuels Evangelical Lutheran Church, Emmanuelsville. Survivors: Her loving family: son, Emre Labar, Jr. of Moore Twp.; daughters, Gwendolyn Grouleff and her husband, Richard of Moore Twp., Robin Dutko and her husband, Scott of Salisbury Twp., Rochelle Klump of Lehigh Township and Valeria Space and her husband, Daniel of Bath; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Rodenbach and her husband, Silas Sr. of Hellertown; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, Emre, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Fogel in 1972, as well as her brothers, Truman and Charles Sandt and son-in-law, Fred Klump in 2006. Services: Will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Dr., Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions: May be made in memory of Rella to her family in care of the funeral home.
