I am thankful for Pastor Bodey. While a student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, I found homiletics classes intimidating. Each seminarian prepared his best work and then stood as his professor and fellow students passed judgment on his efforts. Professor Bodey was never want for constructive comments but he was also kind and encouraging. He called me in and gave me my first church preaching assignment - a small Lutheran church in Wisconsin. I distinctly remembered wanting to honor professor Bodey in that effort. I have no doubt that he too has given his best effort and has heard "Well done, good and faithful servant." as a result of his masters assignment.

I grew-up in Emmanuel EC church in Bethlehem and remember his father quite well. I had no idea what happened to Richard but am pleased to learn what he did with his life.
