Richard Centenaro Obituary

Richard M. Centenaro, 62, of Bath, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in his home.

He was born in Bronx, New York; a son of the late Mario and Josephine (DiFrancesco) Centenaro.

He was a Senior Mechanical Engineer for PPL for many years until his retirement in 2015.

Richard enjoyed riding bikes, running, swimming, hiking, skiing and had a love for cars, motorcycles, and racing. Dancing to live music, which was one of his favorite pastimes and seeing live tribute bands especially the Grateful Dead, while dancing the night away with his daughter Sara, was a love they shared and bonded over. He was an amazing father, brother, son and loyal friend. Always up for a good time and notorious for a laugh that will not soon be forgotten, his life although cut entirely too short, will be remembered by all his family and friends and he will be missed dearly by all.

He is survived by his daughter, Sara Centenaro of Easton; two brothers, William "Bill" Centenaro and wife Christina and their children Thomas and William, John Centenaro and husband Sam Shaw; and very dear friends Rachel and Gary Burger.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm in the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.

We are so heartbroken to hear of Rich´s passing. We´ll remember all our fun times together dancing at Penns peak and Levitt pavilion. His laugh was infectious. Rich was an amazing friend. We´ll miss him everyday. Our sincere sympathy goes out to his family, friends and especially Sara. Sincerely, Joan and Paul
