Richard J. Curry

Richard J. Curry, 96, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the St. Luke's Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of the late Flo (Bheam) Curry, who died in 1973. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Weirbach) Curry. Richard honorably served his country in the US Army during WWII. He worked in personnel services for the Bethlehem Steel for many years, until retiring. Richard was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown. Survivors: Daughters Maureen Valente and her companion Dennis Falat of Hellertown, Colleen Woods and her husband Kenneth of Venice, Fla.; grandson Kevin Valente and his wife Elizabeth of Union, NJ.; 2 great grandsons Michael and Thomas. Services: Burial services are private and at the convienience of the family. Richards arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill.
