Richard Hawkey Obituary
Richard T. Hawkey, 43, of Northampton, died April 19, 2004 in Whitehall. Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Lucille (Redline) Hawkey. He worked in the produce and floral departments of Weiss Market, Whitehall, for the past 2 years. Along with Weiss, he also performed domestic cleaning services for various residential and commercial clients throughout the Lehigh Valley for the past 22 years. He was a 1979 graduate of Whitehall High School. Survivors: He is survived by: sister, Nadine, w/o Ronald Eichner of Lower Macungie Twp.; brothers, Robert Hawkey Jr. and Mark S. Hawkey, both of Whitehall; cousins; nieces, nephews. Services: graveside, noon Saturday, May 1, 2004, Fairview Cemetery, West Catasauqua. Contributions: Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.

I didn't forget you birthday honey. It's been a long hard battle since you left us in April. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you so much. I see you sitting indian style on the floor playing with the dogs. Little nootsie and Cliide miss you too. Your Peach colored roses are blooming. We leave the light on for you. Richard Hawkey was a very nice friend I had met while I was employed at the bank. Had very much in common. He was a very nice person to talk to, and was liked very much. My friends from the bank and I will miss him very much.
