Richard H. Lehr, 88, of Allentown, joined his beloved wife, the late Cleo I. (Shollenberger) Lehr, in Gods eternal peace on December 22, 2005. He was an electrical service manager for Crowder Jr. Co., Bethlehem, for many years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Austin and Mabel (Henry) Lehr. He was a member and former sound system operator for St. Peters Lutheran Church, Allentown. He was a graduate of Allentown High School. He was a member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association and the M.O.R.A. Club. He was a 32nd degree Mason at Jordan-Martin Masonic Lodge 673, Allentown, was a past president of the Masonic Temple Association, a member of the High 12 Club, a Lehigh Consistory member since 1962, was on the Lehigh Consistory Sound Committee since 1987 and was awarded a Meritorious Service Award from the Lehigh Consistory in 1991. He operated sound equipment for Macungie Park, the Municipal Opera Company and Lehigh Consistory. Survivors: Sister, Mary Meyers of Center Valley; nephews, Charles Meyers and Gerald Meyers, both of Hellertown, Glenn Meyers of Emmaus and David Shollenberger of Montoursville; nieces, Judy Gyurina of Montoursville and Sandra Oberg of Las Vegas, Nevada; goddaughters, Melinda Marciniak of Allentown and Kerissa Neal of Jupiter, Fla. Services: will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Calling hour will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
