Dear Linda and kids,
All our family knew Rick as a wonderful caring person who gave up his time to share his abilities with us all. Nate and Nina as well as myself have been the lucky benefactors of his warm and thoughtful person he was to spend his time to mentor on Camelback slopes. He will be remembered in our hearts for being generous with his time and kind with his words. Thank you for sharing him with our humble ski patrol staff. He will be thought of often and warmly. May God bless you during this difficult time.

I skied with Rick on the Patrol at Camelback for many years. He was a great mentor and a really great guy. Thoughts and prayers to everyone whose heart is broken over his passing.

I was shocked to hear of Rick's passing. As a former member of the Macungie Golf League, I enjoyed our time together on Iron Lakes, whether it was a friendly or competitive match.

My heartfelt condolences. Rick mentored me at Camelback decades ago, and from that grew a great friendship. His “glass is half full” attitude inspired me to be better. Seldom did a day on the slope pass without Rick talking about Kyle and Katie. Your Dad was so very proud of you both. Linda, Rick loved to tell the story how you two met. He adored you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I miss him already.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Rick was always so quick to lend a helping hand. He was always willing to help by cutting my grass or shoveling my snow.
