Ricky W. Troxell, 61, of High Falls, NY, formerly of Allentown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at home. Born in Allentown on April 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Merlington and Mary (Harkins) Troxell. He attended Wm. AllenHigh School. He honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Rick worked for IBM for 25 years before retiring to follow his true passion, love of the outdoors and nature. Rick became a Trailhead Assitant at Mohonk Preserve located in the beautiful Adirondack Mtns. where he worked and lived for the past seven years. Survivors: He is survived by his sisters, Ginger Arnold and her husband, David, of Emmaus, Christy Arranyos of Allentown; brothers, Carey and his wife, Kathy, of Slatington, Randy and his wife, Donna, of Cetronia; nieces, nephews, and their families. Services: There will be a memorial sevice for local friends and family to celebrate Ricks life April 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the LehighGap Nature Center.
