Robert Kramer Obituary

Robert F. Kramer
Robert F. Kramer, 85, of Promised Land, Green Township, Pike County, passed away, Saturday, January 31, 2009 in his home. He and his wife, Victoria (Bosak) Kramer, have been married since June 9, 1946. He was born in Bethlehem, a son of the late Robert and Eva Kramer and served in the Army during World War II. Bob was a police officer in Bethlehem for many years and later worked for the Bethlehem Housing Authority until he retired. Bob was also a member of the North End Wanderers Athletic Association and the American Legion. Survivors: Grandson, Stephen Kramer of Catasauqua; granddaughters, Karen Bennett of Fort Collins, Colo., and Tracy Biesecker of York Springs; and great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Andrew, Madelyn, Kylie and Caryn. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Charles Kramer, in 2000, who is survived by his wife Kathleen Kramer of Catasauqua. Two brothers and a sister also died earlier. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, wherefriends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service.
