Robert W. Roth

1945 - 2022

Robert William Roth, 77, of Walnutport, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 in his home. He was the husband of Linda E. (Dalrymple) Roth to whom he was married 54 years. Born in North Whitehall Township, January 29, 1945, Robert was the son of the late Kermit Lewis and Laura Violla (Remaley) Roth. A member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 2599, he was employed as an assembler at Olson Technologies, Inc., formerly W.F. Mosser & Son, in Allentown for 45 years before retiring. Since his formal retirement, Robert was employed part-time at A.F. Boyer Hardware & Guns in Slatington. He was a member of the NRA. His hobbies include painting and wood working. Robert was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Linda; sons, Michael C. Roth (Tyleen) of Port Republic, MD, Daniel F. Roth (Judy) of Slatington; sister, Jean C. Levering of Palmerton; predeceased by a grandson, Collin M. Roth and a brother, Carl K. Roth.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. Becky J. Beckwith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
