Robert Schaffer Obituary
Robert F. Bob Schaffer, Sr., 58, of Greentown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. He was the loving husband of Donna Donndie (Rose) Schaffer, with whom he shared over 34 years of marriage. Born in Montgomery, AL, Bob was a son of William Schaffer, Sr. of Bath and the late Viola (Illigasch) Schaffer. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1973, and was a truck owner/operator for Kirk Trucking in Delmont. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking motorcycle rides, but he mostly enjoyed being with his wife, family and grandsons. Survivors: Wife, Donndie; son, Robert Schaffer, Jr. and his companion Britany McNamara of Greentown; father, William Schaffer, Sr.; brothers, William Willy Schaffer, Jr. and his companion Tammy Benner of Bethlehem, John Schaffer and his wife Suzan of Bethlehem; sister, Cindy Ferguson of Allentown; grandchildren, Liam and Dilan Schaffer.
