Holly,
I am sorry to read of your parents' I have such fond memories of your Mom and Dad at the First Presbyterian Church. Whenever I would be home visiting, I would get to see them on Sunday mornings at church. After the sermons, we'd discuss those Blue Devils. I think your Dad was one of the first Dukies I ever met and certainly one of the most loyal. If there is a Duke heaven, your parents have seats right behind the bench! I know you were blessed with a lifetime of wonderful memories. May those memories now give you comfort.

Holly and Gretchen and families,
We were away & just learned of Bob's passing. We will always remember the Duke basketball games we attended with the Nemeths and your Mom & Dad...
especially the 6 of us sleeping in 1 room in Durham. Bob's great sense of humor was the best. Our sympathy on the loss of a truly special man.

Bob was my Dad's only brother and he was my favorite Uncle. He had a greater hand in molding my personality than my own father later in life.
I spoke to him every 2-3 week for years and will miss him greatly. He was a joy to be with an that was the feeling from everybody he met.

Bob was a fine man who had a long and fulfilling life. He and my father were high school classmates. Bob and my father both were members of "America's Greatest Generation". Both served as medics in WWII and carried heavy war time memories. Our condolences are extended to Holly, Gretchen, and the extended family. Rest in Peace Bob.
