Robert Stimmel Obituary
Robert W. Stimmel, Jr., 65, of Schnecksville, died April 22, 2011 at home. He was a supervisor at Stroh Brewery in Fogelsville for 25 years until retiring. Prior to that, he was a line haul supervisor at Jones Motor Company in Lebanon. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Robert W. Stimmel, Sr. and the late Rose (Brady) Stimmel. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a graduate of Penn State University. Survivors: Brother, William P. Stimmel and his wife Kathleen M. of Allentown; nephews, William P. Stimmel, III and Robert W. Stimmel. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Rose Stimmel. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena 18th and Turner Sts. Allentown. Call Wednesday, from 9-10 a.m. at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Church 1825 W. Turner St. Allentown, PA 18104.

To Bob's family: I worked with Bob at Stroh's for many years and am truly sad to learn of his passing. It was far too soon. He was a good person. You and Bob are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bill and Kathy,
We are terribly saddened and surprised to hear of Bob's passing. May GOD be with you and your family. Hopefully the good memories you have as a family will remain forever.
