Ronald A Muth, age 70, was surrounded by the love of his family when he passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was the husband of Noreen (Manuola) Muth and they celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in September. Born in Fullerton, Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Alfred and Pauline (Kempf) Muth. Ron was a lifetime member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Whitehall. He worked for over 39 years as a district sales manager for Tastykake until his retirement in 2002. Ron served in the Navy from 1958 through 1962 in Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica. Survivors:Surviving along with his wife Noreen are two daughters and two grandchildren; his sister Joan and her husband Barry Matchette of Virginia; nephew Christopher and wife Mary Matchette, Michael and wife Rachael Matchette, Matthew Matchette; niece Laurie and her husband Richard Weber; and six great nieces. He is also survived by his faithful springer spaniel Maggie May. Services:A memorial service celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. on June 10, 2011 at St. Johns United Church of Christ 575 Grape St, Whitehall 18052. There will be a calling period from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church. Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made in his name payable to the American Kidney Fund or Lehigh Valley Hospice c/o Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua PA 18032. Noreen, I am so sorry to hear about Ron. I really liked him he was just a nice person. You two were a perfect match and was glad when you got married. Believe it or not Tastykake was a great place to work and we all had fun those days. Ron and I went to a bunch of connventions and I know that he enjoyed his work even though we sometime complained about the long hours. I really miss those days and you and Ron.
