Ronald S. Schnyder

Ronald S. Schnyder, 83, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023. Born in Allentown, and a lifetime resident of Lower Macungie Twp., he was the son of the late Malcolm D. and Arlene M. (Lilly) Schnyder. In 1958, he graduated from Emmaus High School and later from Penn State University with an Associate's Degree in Tool Design Technology. For 37 years, he worked as a mechanical designer for Air Products, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting, and golf. He was a member of Macungie Fire Co., Rural Sportsmen's Association, Alburtis Rod and Gun Club, Breinigsville VFW 8282, Macungie Veterans Association, Citizens Fire Co. #2 in Emmaus and a lifetime member of Wescosville Fire Co.

Survivors: Son Troy Schnyder and his wife Sharon; granddaughters Marlena Schnyder and Nina Schnyder. He was predeceased by a brother Terry Schnyder.

Services will be private.
