Ronald "Swallow Obituary

Ronald J. Swallow, 82, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Oak Park, IL, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Sophia A. (Yasas) Swallow. Ronald attended the University of Illinois from 1954 to 1966, earning his Ph.D. in Biophysics, receiving his Master's in Electrical Engineering and obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Engineering. He was a self-employed Computer Hardware Design Engineer for many years. Survivors: Son, Douglas Swallow of Long Branch, NJ; 4 Brothers, Robert, Richard, Russell and Roger Swallow; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and his former wife, Sandra S. (Jenkins) Swallow. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karyssa D. Plotczyk, in 2006. Services: Private. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.

May God rest your soul. I worked closely with Ron in the 80's and 90's. He was an inspiration to all and was 30 years ahead of his time which in technology is visionary.
