Rosalie Onushco Obituary

Rosalie (Lazor) Onushco, 86, of Macungie, passed away in her home December 1, 2022. She was the loving wife of Michael Onushco Sr. for 65 years. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Hartzun) Lazor. Rosie graduated from Emmaus High School, Class of '54. She was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown. Rosie retired as a supervisor at Rodale Press. She will be deeply missed for her kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for others.

Survivors: husband; children– Michael Onushco, Jr., Susan Post and companion George Busch, Steven Onushco and wife Sherry, Joseph Onushco and wife Terri; grandchildren– Shawn, Logan, Averi, Brennan, Alexander, Vanessa, and Savannah; great grandchildren– Taylor, Brianna, Brynn, Marlee, Casey, and Evelyn. She was predeceased by 9 siblings.

Services were held privately for the family.

Contributions can be made in Rosie's memory to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, care of Kohut Funeral Home, Inc., 950 N Front St., Allentown, PA 18102.
