Dear Peggy, Michael, Gwen & Jimmy,
How quickly time passes by. It seems like just yesterday that Rich and I were watching Michael and Gwen on Cedar Street while you and Russ worked so hard to get your restaurant going. Those were good times, as all of you meant so much to both of us. Please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of Russ. Know that you are in our prayers and thoughts. With the passing of time, may the love, joy and memories of all your good times together replace these sad days. Our best wishes and love go with you all always.

I was greatly saddened to read of Russ's passing. Russ was a great guy and a valued member of our High School Reunion Committee. His expertise in the food business was a great asset to our committee and he will be sorely missed. He achieved much in life through hard work and we were all proud to have him as a friend. Condolences to Peg and all members of his family on your loss.

Dear Peggy,
I was so saddened to read about Russ' death. I have fond memories of the old 8th street neighborhood. You are in my thoughts and prayers!
I was also schocked to hear about Jimmy Lindenmuth's death some years ago, which I also leafrned from the Morning Call obits via the internet.
I'll call Sandy to let her know about Russ, if she doesn't already.
Blessings,
(Rev.) Richard A. Moyer -Community United Church of Christ, Erie, PA.

Pop-pop,
I know you want so much for us to not mourn your death, but it is so hard. For the last twenty-one years you have been my one and only grandfather. I still remember like it was yesturday when you used to come and pick Matt and I up from the bus stop at our new house, and on the way back to your house, you would make sure to swing by Hersh's market on 19th street so we could run in and get a snack before going back to your house. Every day we were given two-minutes to grab whatever we wanted, and meet you back up at the register. When we got back into the car, you always had the Roy Orbinson tape on, and you would sing "You Got It" to me as loud and as deep as you possibly could. Memories like those will never leave my mind, and espessially not my heart. I won't tell Jason, Tiff, Matt, Kyle or Brianna right now because I know it is a tough time, but I do know that I am your favorite. I was the blonde hair, blue eyed baby girl that you always wanted. I love you more than you could have ever imagined, and you will live in my heart from this day forward. Thank you for the memories that you were so generous to share with me and everyone else. I'll miss you.
