Ruth Derrickson Obituary
Ruth L. Derrickson, 83, of Whitehall, died Saturday, August 25, 2007, in her home. She was the wife of Samuel Sam Derrickson. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Hilda E. (Muschlitz) Kisthart. Ruth retired from General Electric in 1984. Survivors: Son; grandsons, Richard Holland, Charles Holland; great-granddaughter, Madelyn. Services: Graveside, 10 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2007, Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Ave., Allentown. There is no viewing. Arrangements, Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. www.trexlerfuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Development Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital, c/o the funeral home, PA 18102.

I worked with Ruth at G.E. Later I moved to Sun City Center Fl. and Ruth and I kept in Touch. She and Sam stopped in to see my husband and I when they visited Fl. She and I became e-mail buddies. Then about a month ago she called me and we had a nice talk. She will be missed.
