Words can't express how sorry we all were to hear about young Sergei. We will always have such fond memories of your living next door to us when you first moved here and the fun Chris had playing with Sergei. Hoping it will help you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

No words can express how you are feeling, however know that you have a very special angel in heaven to watch over all of you. Our sons Billy and Josh had a wonderful time with Sergei in San Francisco in October, both are saddened by this horrific news. I want to thank Sergei personally for being a roommate and a best friend to our son Joshua..May all you wonderful memories keep Sergei alive in your heart. God Bless all of you

Natasha, Ulia, will be thinking of you over the next days, know Sergei will always be remembered by a vast community of people whose lives he touched in a number of different ways, hopefully that will bring some comfort. I have fond memories as well taking him to the soccer tournaments with Justin, and them laughing just having fun. Will be there for you.

Walking along a beach after a storm, seashells abound. Just when we think there is nothing particularly interesting or unique about seashells we spot one that stands out from the rest. A seashell that is truly remarkable, and one that we want to keep for our own.
Like a rare seashell, Sergie was truly remarkable. There were constants about him that everyone who knew him came to expect. When he was present, the space he occupied appeared brighter and more energized. When he smiled, he smiled with his whole being. And he had a way of making each of us feel special—as though he found us to be the remarkable ones. Most of all, he lived in the moment like few do.
