Shirley A. Blose

Shirley A. (Miller) Blose, 80, of Palmerton, PA, formerly of New Tripoli, PA, passed away on May 23, 2023 at the Scenic View Personal Care Home in Palmerton. She was the widow of David S. Blose, Sr., who passed away in February 2023. Shirley was born in Little Gap, PA. She was a daughter of the late Milton F. and Jennie (Waylen) Miller. Shirley worked as a CNA for the Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown, PA, for many years until she retired in 2002. She was a member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Tripoli. Survivors include her daughter, Sheri Lynne (Richard) Roth of Germansville; grandchildren, Evan Roth of Cumbola, PA, and Stevie Lynne (Michael) Rodriguez of Cropseyville, NY; great-grandchild, Roman Rodriguez; sister, Marian C. Zellner of Lehigh Furnace, PA. She was predeceased by her son, David S. Blose, Jr., and siblings, David Miller, Dorothy Borger, Dolly Miller, Grace Miller, and Eva Snyder.
