Shirley was an amazing person who never slowed down, never got old and always was there to help others and experience life to its fullest. I was blessed to have worked with her at Lehigh Valley Active Life.

I knew Shirley through the computer club for fifteen or twenty years, and in that time she was so vivacious and active that, earlier this year, I was sure she was in her seventies. Only through this obituary did I learn that she was actually in her nineties. What an incredible woman. Even through her medical difficulties over the past year or so, she kept on pushing. I'm lucky to have known her and worked with her.

Shirley was a great Apple leader and spokeswoman and the MacPower club was her passion; she will be sorely missed. What a great lady!

I am celebrating the life of this beautiful and talented woman, my friend Shirley. My day will be spent recalling the years of stimulating conversation and fond memories. She was politically astute and a civil rights advocate. She was a guest speaker at a training program I held when I was a dept. dir. at OIC , a job training and placement program. She was truly my friend, my advocate, my mentor.
