It is difficult to believe 5 years ago Shirley was called from this world. The world became a little darker that day. Thoughts of Shirley brings an immediate smile to my face. I enjoyed chatting with her everyday I was there.

I am sorry to hear about your mom. Shirley was my favorite person at Emeritus. I looked forward to seeing her everyday. I enjoyed my time with her. She always made me smile. I pray that God cradles all of you in the palms of his hands and comforts you in this difficult time. God bless you all.

My condolences to Shirley's family. Shirley and I were neighbors for a long time and enjoyed having coffee together. She was a great person.

There are two things most important in life, one is home cause you are always welcome and its always comfy, second is family, you are born with one and its yours whether you like it or not. One thing l will always remember is how welcomed we felt and how grand Shirley was, her home was always open, food abound, gracious friendship extended and we never left without making plans to meet again. Shirley was a rare old breed, she couldn't do enough for you, or her husband who always had a smile, a tune on the piano or laughter along with great conversation. A great wife, mother, aunt, sister to us all, you will be sadly missed. God Bless our thoughts and prayers are with you.
