Stanley Majewski Obituary

Stanley Majewski,Sr., 87, of Bethlehem, Pa. went home to our Lord on Friday July 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 7, 1930 in Dickson City, Pa., the son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Pryzhocki) Majewski. He was the husband of Lucille (Roseman) Majewski. They recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. Stanley worked in the beam yards for Bethlehem Steel. He served his country as a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Korean War. Stanley was a gifted athlete and loved coaching a variety of youth sports. He was very devoted to his family and friends and will be dearly missed. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lucille, sons, Stanley and wife June, John and wife Mary both of Bethlehem Twp., daughters Margie (Tanen) and husband Steven of Harleysville, Janice (Bitler) and husband Robert, also of Bethlehem Twp., and sister, Anna (Lewis) and husband Paul of Bethlehem Twp., 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Majewski, sister Dolores Antiskay, and a grandson, Matthew Tanen. Services: A viewing will be held from 9-11a.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in the church. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Send online condolences to www.connellfuneral.com.
