Stella Frassetto Obituary

Stella Marie (Schadl) Frassetto, age 92, passed away peacefully April 13, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospice House after a short illness. She was born April 28, 1928 in Coplay and raised in Stiles, PA. She was one of nine children born to the late Joseph and Josephine Schadl. Stella was married to her loving husband and best friend, John, for 60 years until his passing in 2013.

Stella will be remembered as a loving mother, dedicated grandmother, amazing baker, maker of the best shoofly pie and lover of polkas.

She is survived by her two sons, Anthony (wife Myrna) of Allentown, and John (wife Dee) of Edmond, Oklahoma; granddaughter Nicole and her children Nikaiyah and Camden; grandson Michael (wife Arlene) with whom she resided during her final years; and siblings, Josephine, Joe, Frank, Annie, Fritz, and Freda.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stella was preceded in passing by two siblings, Rose and Eddie.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to St. Luke's Hospice House for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.

To the Frassetto family, you have my sincere condolences for your loss of your mother, Stella. Even though she was 92, it's still not easy to lose a family member. I hoe you're both well and I pray for rapid healing with warm memories. God bless you!

John and Tony....Your Mom and Dad were always great to me when we were just kids growing up and hanging out in your neighborhood. As time went by and we went our separate ways, I always tried to stop by and visit and say hi. They always invited me in to talk and have a beer or 2 at your kitchen table. I will miss them, as I do miss seeing you guys. May Stella rest in peace along side with your Dad. God Bless.
