Stephen J. Norm Dobosh, 57, of 420 W. Ridge Street, Lansford, died July 12, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Philadelphia. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Walter and Steffie (Slog) Dobosh. He worked as a surveyor for Penn East Corporation for 37 years until 1993. He was self employed afterwards as a surveyor. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving from 1969-71. He was a Catholic. He was a member of the Lansford Amvets, member and current president of the Home Association of the Lansford American Legion and a member of the Coaldale V.F.W. Survivors: Three brothers, Walter Dobosh of Bear Creek, Pa., Tom Dobosh and Bob Dobosh, both of Lansford; two sisters, Barbara Dobosh and Mary Soto and her husband, Rick, both of Lansford; nephew, Jared Soto; Abbott. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in the Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home with the Reverend Lawrence Bukaty officiating. Calling hours on Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Amvets and Legion services Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Summit Hill. Contributions: Could be made to the Carbon County Friends of Animals Association, c/o the funeral home.
