Susan Washko

Susan A. Washko, 68, of Center Valley passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twsp. Born in Allentown, She was the daughter of the late Dr. Edward and Margaret (Scott) Geller. She was the wife of Daniel G. Washko. They observed their 47th wedding anniversary in May. She graduated from Montefiore Hospital Nursing School N.Y., N.Y. with a LPN Degree. Susan was a foster parent for Pinebrook Services, Allentown for 25 years retiring in 2002. Prior, she worked as a LPN at Good Shepherd Hospital, Allentown and Easton Hospital. She attended St. Johns U.C.C., Coopersburg. Survivors: Along with husband, Daniel; sons, Daniel S. Washko and his wife Erin of Ft. Monroe, VA, Timothy A. Pitak and his wife Janna of Sellersville; brother, Dr. E. Scott Geller and his former wife Carol of Newport, VA; granddaughters, Paige, Avery, and Lillian Washko; nieces, Krista, Karly, Tracy, and Alyssa; nephews, Rom, John, Mark, and Jim. Services: Memorial Service 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Visitation 4 p.m., Wednesday until time of service.
