Sue was my sister before she became my aunt because I lived with Mammy and Pappy in my early years. Sue was 15’ish when I was born. She would take me to the “Soda Malt Shop” next to Harrison-Morton to hang out with her friends. By the time I was three I could read, choose what songs to play, then ask for the money. So many memoires! I called her “Sis” for the longest time, not knowing she was my aunt.
During my teen years I was with Sue, sometimes Chick, hanging out at the NAACP Club around 2nd Street, going to “speak-easies”, just enjoying life. I lived with Sue in Egypt for a short time and we had some “WILD” times (Bud, Eddie, Jorge, Patty, Cheryl). Those who were there or eaves dropping (Kerri/Ollie) know it was a party and anyone was invited. Sue wouldn’t turn anyone away.
Later in life Sue and my mother (Nancy) became the closest of friends. Thank you for being there for my mom! You’ll surely be missed by many, especially your youngest brother, me. Though I have not lived in Allentown for 34 years, I would speak to Sue and we would gossip, laugh, reminisce, and get the lowdown on my mom’s health.
Rest well Sue and tell God I said hello.

Love, Bobby

Aunt Sue, what can I say you know how you are and will be missed by a lot of people in your life. It was sudden and just unbelieveable. Kerry, Ollie, Gene, LaKera, Tiesha,Stephen, and Eric - this is a big blow. I am very sorry.. Girls we can remember all the fun at the house in Egypt. My mom, Nancy- I don't even know what to say or do. She lost her baby sister and best friend all in one day...it is hard. No more 7 pm phone calls, the trips, the haircuts, the police radio, sleep overs, but the memories of all their lives together will never leave. Uncle Rocky, I am to sorry for you- you as well had a very special and close relationship with her. It is hard I know. You as well lost a sister and best friend. But we have to come together and keep it together as one. Our families are growing smaller, but it is not all about numbers, it is about concern and care. Aunt Sue, I smelled you the other night...thank you for visiting the home... we will miss you surely.
