I am saddened to learn that Tom passed away. I worked as a basketball official at Strayer when Tom was the athletic director. He always made "the refs" feel at home. He will be missed in the education community.

Lorie and family,
Tom was a great personality to work alongside with. He had a great sense of direction and his sense of humor kept everything in proper perspective. I happened to run into Tom just before he got sick. He was sitting with a group of high school students who were donating blood in Palmerton HS. He was out there cheering them on and encouraging others to donate. He happened to sit with me and we had a nice reunion.
Tom will be greatly missed. May God bless you and your family.

Tom was a man of sincere integrity. He was a devoted educator and a real inspiration to family and friends. We recall his joy and enthusiasm. Tom can be proud of the love he shared with his parents as he honored their 50th wedding anniversary. He will be in our memories for a long time. God bless Tom and his family.

Lorie and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers. I cannot describe what Tom Davis meant to me. First of all I probably would not be at Whitehall if Tom was not involved in hiring me back in 1996. As an administrator he impressed me with his patience and caring attitude to ALL students and faculty members. He would sit with me and encourage me to keep striving and never stop trying to improve as a teacher (and he would bug me to get into administration...but im still not sure about that). As a friend we had some of the best times especially playing Friday morning basketball the past 5 years. I loved his free spirit and desire to stay in great shape. When i see myself in the future, I want to live a happy and energetic life like Tom did. He truely was one of the best!!!! I thank God for Tom Davis being part of my life!!!

I send my deepest sympathy to the Davis family.
Mr. Davis was the one who helped me through a hard time while I attended Whitehall High School. He helped me put structure into my life when I became pregnant in school. I will forever remember him for that.
I feel your pain of losing a loved one, as my best friend died on Friday. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family as you go through this difficult time.

Tom was an example of a fine human being. He was a great educational leader and a kind and considerate man. He always took time to listen to the comments and concerns of students, parents, staff, and faculty during his time at Palmerton Area School District. Tom will be deeply missed by all. Condolences to the Davis family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts have been with you since the beginning of this sorrow. Tom was a wonderful help to me as a mother of a student when he was principal at Whitehall High and now working with Lorie as her secretary, I've come to know more of the family, how close and loving they are. As time passess you will smile more & more, thinking of your time with him. And you will welcome those smiles. Charmaine

Lorie and Family,
Tom was a great man. He was a part of my hiring at Whitehall. I only worked with him for a short while as his secretary at Whitehall but in that short time he taught me a lot and could always make me feel better when it was a crazy day. He rarely ever lost his patience and when he did it always shocked me. I have a lot of admiration for him. I can not even imagine the loss all of you are feeling. I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. This loss will leave a hole in all of your lives but remember all the wonderful times you had with a very special man. He will always be watching over all of you and will be forever in your hearts. God Bless all of you in this time of sorrow.
