Thomas J. Follweiler, 63, of Allentown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 24th. Born in Allentown, son of the late Arnold and Bernadine (Witkowski) Follweiler. Tom was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, and worked for the Streets Department for the City of Allentown for 32 years, prior to retiring. Tom was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. He coached basketball, baseball, and softball at East Side Youth Center for many years. He spent most of his time fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Angelina, Jadalynn, and Myalise. Surviving are his children: Charlotte, wife of George Elchaar, Sabrina Bermudez, wife of the late Andy Bermudez, and Thomas T. Follweiler. As well as, former spouse, Christine Sterner Follweiler. Also, surviving are his siblings: Jim Follweiler and wife Connie, Daniel Follweiler, and Linda Kreicher. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday January 29, 2023 at 4:00PM, in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00-4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom's memory to the family c/o the funeral home.

Tom was the kindest nicest guy you could ever know. He would help anyone in need if he could. He will be missed by the Thursday crowd. I couldn´t go to the funeral because I have covid. He cherished his grandchildren and was always showing us photos. He was a Cowboys fan and I an Eagles fan so we were always arguing . I wish you all the best during this difficult time. Helen Keith

Foe was such as character in the true sense of the goodness of the Eastside. All though I didn't know him very well, our paths crossed numerous times over the years, both on duty and off. He was always had a smile and a story to greet you with. Another city worker gone too soon. He will be missed. RIP

Tom always was a good guy to us at Blue Chip Motors. Tom got us out of a few jams with unruly customers and would always lookout for our business when we were closed. I´m going to miss seeing him around the East side. Prayers and condolences to the family.
