Timothy Kauffman

On June 12, 2016, Timothy "Tim" G. Kauffman, 83, of Emmaus, PA, passed in to the presence of his Lord. He was embraced by his family as he made his journey. Tim was born to the late Clifford L. and Ethel H. (Mann) Kauffman. He spent a happy childhood in Emmaus surrounded by his large extended family. Early in his life, Timothy served in the Army as a medic stationed in Germany. He then attended and received a bachelor's of science degree in construction engineering from John Brown University. Following this, Tim met and married his beloved wife Wanda Smith. Together they served as missionaries, spending 24 years (1963-1987) in France and Congo, Africa. Throughout his entire life, Timothy was a loving and caring husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a faithful member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church in Emmaus. Tim's life exemplified his love of God, family, adventure and learning. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughters, Jeanne Annette Zelner and husband Edward, Brenda Kauffman-Mazzi and husband Steven; Sons, Christopher Kauffman, Michael Kauffman and wife Christine; Sisters, Vivian Foster and husband Rev. C. Biddle, Mary Jane Cole; 9 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandson; 1 paternal aunt, Florence Schlonecker, and 1 maternal Aunt, Dorothy Mann; 17 nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, June 20th at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:30-11am at the church. Interment in Zionsville Bible Fellowship Cemetery, Zionsville. Arrangements made by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus. These donations will be used for missions' projects in Congo, Africa where Tim and Wanda so faithfully served the Lord for 17 years.
