Timothy Walter Obituary
Timothy J. Walter, 43, of Slatington, passed away December 4, 2007, in his residence. He was the husband of Brenda (Nierer) Walter. They celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in September. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Rita Dietrich of Walnutport and the late Jack Walter. Tim worked as a maintenance painter for Muhlenberg College since 1985. Survivors: Wife; son, Tyler at home; mother. Services: 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Friends may call 6-7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tyler Walter Education Fund, c/o the funeral home.

Brenda, You don't know us but we know your mom and when we saw her at Dave's party she told us about this tragedy. Our hearts go out to you, your son and entire family. Although I did not know you very well, it was always a pleasure seeing and talking to you on campus.
I hope that you have found peace within. You are dearly missed by many as you made an impact on many peoples lives. The Muhlenberg Community as well as the lives of many individuals will not be the same without you.

I am personally very saddened to hear about the death of my cousin, Timothy J. Walter. My mother, Shirley Walter Gery, is the sister of Timothy's father, Jack, who passed away nearly 2 years ago. I remember very well visiting Timothy, Rita and Jack in Allentown during our visits to our relatives there. I express my very sincere condolences to his wife and son.

my deepest conolences to Tim's family,
I looked forward to seeing Tim every morning he always had a pleasant personality and great smile. Was always the first to say hello and good morning to everyone. He is truly missed his seat at the break table is empty now. But i can see him smiling there just to sit and talk with the guys. Tim will be truely missed by all. I am so glad i got the pleasure of meeting such a nice man. my prayers are with all of you at this time.

Tim was a tremendous help to me whenever it was time to get the Martin Art Gallery at Muhlenberg ready for a new exhibition. I'll truly miss his friendliness and professionalism.
