So surprised when this email arrived in my in box. I frequently have conversations with Barry in my head and heart. Such a smart and intuitively capable and lovely man. So instrumental in my spiritual and emotional growth. I always remember Barry as spiritual director, companion and friend and remember with much gratitude.

I remember spending time just talking with Barry at a spiritual retreat. He told me not to worry because I had everything that I needed inside of me. I often think of this advice when I am weary from the world. He was a bright light here among us and I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Dear Young clan,
Find comfort in knowing that Barry's time here on earth touched so many of us in profound ways. He invested himself in others. He loved his family and modeled for us what a healthy marriage and family looks like. He lead many of us to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. For this time, find peace in knowing that Barry is with his Lord and soon enough we will see him again
