Vicki Michael Obituary

Vicki L. Michael
Vicki L. Michael, 56 years of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 9, 2012, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital. The wife of David Michael, they married on September 17, 1983. Survivors: husband and mother; brother Brian Seidel and his wife Jennifer of Allentown; mother-in-law Gloria A. Michael of Allentown; brother-in-law-Phillip Michael and his wife Chris of Emmaus; sister-in-law Tamara Michael of Winston-Salem, NC; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and their families; predeceased by her father Jim and father-in-law Leo F. Michael. She will also be greatly missed by her loving family of dogs. Dear David,
I worked with Vicki many years ago when I was working at PPL part-time. She was a lot of fun and always had a lively story to tell. Vicki loved her little Shih Tzu's and would come into work with her latest dog tales that would make you start your day with a laugh. She was so much fun and her personality was full of life. I am very sorry to hear about her death.

David,

I am very sorry to hear about Vicki. I was working out of town and was unable see you at the memorial. I believe that Vicki and I had a special bond at work. Vicki and I had our share of bumps over the years. I will always remember the good times and the great work that Vicki did for me and PPL. I enjoyed making Vicki laugh. I often thought about Vicki and I am sure I will continue to think about her and smile. Take Care.

When I first met Vicki at work she helped me develop the first course I ever wrote. I gave it to her on paper with lots of edits and corrections and I thought it would look terrible. Vicki worked her magic and made it look like it was truly professional. When she gave it back to me, I could hardly recognize it. She was a warm and caring person, always with a smile and a kind word. She will be truly missed by all who worked with her.
May cherished memories bring you comfort in your time of great loss.

Dear David and family,
I am so sad at Vicki's passing.. she was my best friend and was the most kind, caring person, who was always willing to help anyone. I have known her for over 20 years, and she was a big part of my life spending fun times together, and sharing our passions..It was always so much fun to be with her.
She was so creative, and talented in all the beautiful things she could do, and her love for her dogs was amazing, and they were such a part of her life.
I can't imagine the days ahead without her, and I know for you Dave, the void will be tremendous.. I hope each day will get easier, and the wonderful and happy memories will fill your days and nights, she will be truly missed by so many, as she was a dear friend to so many, and always willing to help anyone.
We loved her so much, and will miss her beyond words.

Dear David, Shirley, Brian and family

Words cannot express how sad we feel over your loss. It is hard to understand why why this has happened but maybe God needed someone to care for his animals in Heaven. May you find peace and comfort in knowing she is safe and no longer in distress. Love Jan and Larry Gilbert
