Marilyn and Children, So sorry to hear of Skip passing. I'm sure by now 'Aunt" Shirley has planned an ice cream party and my mom (Millie) is ready to scoop it up and serve it. You can be sure Mr. Ritz is close by, making sure everything is going just right!

Dear Marilyn, Scott and Jennifer and your families. We have all lost one of the most kind, gentle, caring and thoughtful members of our family. Ben and Jerry could have learn something from him, How I will cherish the visits to the ice cream room at the Ritz so I could watch him put together a couple of hundred piece machine, which he could do blind folded, and then churn out the best ice cream in the world. Thanks for my first Schwinn bike. Dark and mint green it was with a push button horn and all. Rode that baby all the way to the ABE and back on Rt 22 to see an air show back in the '50's. Putting that Lionel up ever Christmas, Trip to the shore in the '52 salmon and gray Chevy. Visits to Peck's Pond. Taking on the role as a father till dad got his act together. His work ethics started.at a young age. Finding his way as a young teen (12/13) he would get too the LCC or BCC to caddy and earn a couple of bucks for mom and us as we struggle to keep food on the table. As a kid his love for basketball at the Salvation Army probably was his only moment of solace in his young life. He was my brother, my friend and part time dad for a good portion of my life. I miss you Skip and will always remember what you done for our family. Keeping in tact the family in a role you probably thought was just your responsibility. I hope God enjoys the best Butter Brickle ice cream he will ever taste.
