Anthony Schmidt Obituary
Anthony Aldon Schmidt, age 57, of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Schmidt was born on December 20, 1967, in Santa Cruz, California, the son of Michael Stephen Minkler and Sandra Jeanne Schmidt.
He graduated from Kingsbury High School in Memphis, Tennessee and served as a Navy Seabee in the military. Afterward, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Anthony loved motorcycles, custom trucks, shooting guns, camping, boating, hunting, traveling, and going to the beach.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lori Middleton Schmidt of Somerville, Tennessee. He is also survived by his two sons, Vincent Schmidt (Makayla) of Ripley, Tennessee and Freddie Romero (Megan) of Memphis, Tennessee; his sister, Barb Frimming (Chris) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother, Vincent Mueller (Sandy) of Dunnigan, California; and 3 grandchildren, Angela Schmidt, Jasper Schmidt, and Andrew Schmidt.
He was preceded in death by his parents Michael Stephen Minkler and Sandra Jeanne Schmidt.
Services for Mr. Schmidt will be private.
