Corry Shane Holland, age 48, a resident of Millington, Tennessee, passed away on January 14, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Ricky Holland and Vickie Dalton Lester.
Corry attended Kingsbury High School. He owned his own painting business, worked in construction, and later began his career as a machine operator with Krueger Products; where he worked for two years. He attended Christ Church and lived his life with kindness, humility, and a genuine love for others.
Corry never met a stranger. He was known for his warm smile, positive spirit, and gentle nature, never one to complain. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed dirt biking and riding four- wheelers, and cherished time spent with his family, friends, and dogs. One of his favorite pastimes was watching Shane play University of Memphis baseball. He was incredibly proud of Taylor and Shane and especially loved family gatherings, particularly during the holidays. Erica was his best friend, and many of his favorite memories were made with his cousins and friends.
He is survived by his fiancée, Erica Ellison of Memphis, Tennessee; two stepsons, Taylor Ellison (Jessica) and Shane Cox, Jr. (Stella); one brother, Kenneth Dalton; and his beloved grand dogs, Puppy, River, Aggie, and Miller. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins: Eddie and Susan Holland, Janie Frey, Billy Dent, Kay and Oris Hall, Melissa "Missy" Hartzell, Chris Holland, Justin Holland, Jesse Holland, Hunter Holland, Mike Sonderman, Josh Dent, Casey Dent, Nikki Snyder, Kim Zoulin, Jessica Webb (Shoun), Kim Willis (Tim) and Brandon Holland, and step-father, Leonard Lester.
In addition to his parents, Corry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil ‘Bop Bop” Dalton, Ruby "Mimi” Dalton, Helen "Memaw” Holland, and Junior “Pops” Holland; his aunt, Vicky Dent; his uncles, Dennis Frey and Ronnie Holland; his cousin, Todd Frey; and his beloved dogs, Sosa, Grace, and Coco.
Services for Corry Holland will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and continue until service time. Interment will follow at the Fayette County Memorial Park in Somerville, TN.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Ellison, Shane Cox, Jr., Zachery Doty, Chris Holland, Justin Holland, Jesse Holland, and Hunter Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
