Condolences to Leah and the girls on the passing of Bill. I can´t think of a time when I didn´t know the Henry´s. As a fellow member of Edgeboro Moravian, as a neighbor, and as someone with the highest respect for Bill I will miss him even though I only saw him when I returned to The Valley at Christmas. I have fond memories growing up near his home when he would let myself and the other boys in the neighborhood ride his snowmobiles in winter and in summer he allowed me to ride his 80cc Yamaha till I bought my own bike. He was also very helpful while I was learning auto mechanics prior to me joining the army. I have other memories of him that I could go on for a bit mor but I won´t. Suffice it to say tha William Lewis Henry as well as his whole family have a special place in my memory and more importantly in my heart. Be at peace Bill, the Lord has welcomed you,

Prayers and condolences to the entire Henry family
I met Bill by chance one morning on my way to Bethlehem vo-tech welding class
He was driving to Northampton for his class and the Pontiac he was driving broke down due to a bad fuel pump. It stopped right on the corner of broadhead rd and township line road. I stopped to help and gave him a ride to his house. He was very thankful for the ride and didn´t forget about it. After that year I transferred to auto body at Northampton with Mr Schmidt and there was Mr Henry every day as well. Two very good instructors to teach us what we needed to learn to be successful in life. I will never forget the patience they had with all of us. You were an inspiration to me in so many ways. Fly High Bill and say hello to Whitey for me. Rest easy my friend. RIP

Bill would contact me for placing students in the mechanical field. Bill asked me to hire a troubled student, whom turned out to be a great employee. The fellow worked for me over 20 years before he started his own business. Bill would stop by frequently to check on this fellow. Bills dedication to helping people was his most outstanding trait. Bill was my good friend.

During the late 60´s in Auto Shop I was pretty much a wise guy and would give Mr. Henry the fits !
Later in life when I would bump into him he would laugh and say "you weren´t so bad"!!
Rest in peace my mentor and friend...
Condolences To The Family...

When I shared the passing of Bill with our daughter she reminded us that whenever someone states a welcome of "Are you working hard or hardly working" she thought of Mr Henry because that was how he always greeted her. Reflecting on that, it reinforces to me that Bill was always "Working hard". Most importantly, although not perceived as work, his love for family was foremost in his life; his passion and commitment to Northampton Campus, Bethlehem Campus, and ALPHA students was beyond the hours he "worked". In later life his expertise and dedication to business, industry and labor causes were "hard work" but equally rewarding. And lastly, although not known as "work" his living his faith made his life complete.
You will be missed but your lifelong accomplishments will continue to be realized.

A wonderful man. I first met Bill, from a phone call. He asked me if I would hire one of his students. He felt the student would be better in the mechanical world, rather than the classroom . The student worked for me for over 20 years . After I hired the fellow, Bill would check on him regularly . Bill became a good friend. The world needs more Bill Henrys'
